The Athens Area Community Foundation’s successful “Ready, Set, Go” Board Leadership Training, is back by popular demand this spring consisting of three separate workshops:
- READY, designed for nonprofit staff. Learn what staff leadership can do to build a great board culture;
- SET, for leaders looking to serve or currently serving on boards;
- GO, for current Board Chairs and Executive Directors to dive deeper;
These courses are stand-alone workshops!
*Please note, the Set workshop is not intended for nonprofit staff but is a wonderful place for you to send your board members to! If you are a nonprofit staff, we encourage you to look at the Ready and Go Workshops to gain the most benefit.

Course Details
Each workshop will be held one in the Athens Area Community Foundation’s Community Living Room, located inside the Synovus Bank in downtown Athens.
Registration is $20 per attendee.
Tickets are non-refundable. In the event you cannot attend after purchasing a ticket, your purchase will become a donation and can support someone else attending.
Each workshop is limited to 25 attendees.

The GO Workshop is designed to build stronger partnerships between the Executive Director/CEO and Board President for greater impact.
CEOs and Board Presidents sign up together to take a deeper look at how your organization frames its work, how to create a board culture of engagement and curiosity, and ultimately with a wholistic view of the mission and community being served.
